Trying to log into OSGRID

When trying to log into osgrid, I get an error message of:

Ivalid Character 'N' in Input string

I checked and double checked my user name and password, I made sure to select osgrid in the drop down grid menu, I made sure I changed the password because my SL password differs from my osgrid password. I even tried to create a new grid by choosing OTHER from the drop down menu and inputing http://osgrid.org:8002/

Any ideas why I am getting this message?

I have no idea! Does it happen with other grids?


P.S. Looking at their Twitter feed it seems that they have been having login problems: http://twitter.com/osgrid/

I can log into OSGRID with multiple viewers, but not metabolt. If using Metabolt to log on to Second Life, I have no problem at all. They were having issues as shown on twitter, but only some people were affected, and I never had a problem logging into OSGRID, until I tried with Metabolt :)

Upon performing some tests on OSGrid I can confirm that METAbolt V 0.9.31.0 does not login. On this version of METAbolt we had converted to CAPS login and dropped XMLRPC purely to see improvements in user experience and METAbolt performance in SL. This was done with the knowledge that some OpenSIM based grids possibly would not support CAPS logins. Now I know OSGrid does not support it. I will convert back to XMLRPC in the next version.

To OSGrid developers; it's time we moved on to LLSD logins and we would be grateful if this can be made possible soon. I will move back to XMLRPC for now. Thx.

Thx frendprojects, I will enable OSGrid logins in the next version. If you need to you can roll back to METAbolt V 0.9.29.0 (and maybe even V 0.9.30.0...I haven't checked!) and you should be able to login to OSGrid.

Thank you for your quick replies. This Metabolt is a great tool and I have an item for a wishlist. Since you are already tied in with other grids, I believe Metabolt would be the best company to take on this task. I will post it in the Wish List part of the Forum. Be sure to look for it.

I am having the same issue. Where do I find previous versions to download?
