How do I DISABLE the Metabolt auto re-login feature after it gets disconnected??
I disconnect metabolt remotely on purpose to shut it down, but then it re-logs my AV in.
I do not want it to do this.
Please advise.

Thanx

There isn't a feature to switch it off. If it gets disconnected it will auto-login. For it not to login it needs to be shut down either via the "Close" menu option under the "Application" menu or from the X at the top right hand corner of the application.

How are you shutting it down remotely?

"REMOTELY" logging an AV off:
I basically keep one AV logged-on on one computer at one location (say at Work). While at Home, I may not want the AV logged on at Work, so I sign on as the AV at Home, which in turns logs the AV off at Work automatically. This is how I "remotely" log an AV off. I'm sure this is quite common. HOWEVER after 10 minutes, the auto-relog feature of Metabolt kicks in... it will log the AV off at my Home location and eventually re-log them back on at my Work location.
I want to prevent this from happening. If I "remotely" log off an AV at Work, it is usually for a good reason. And I want them to stay logged off. Giving us the abililty to select whether we want the AV to automatically re-log or not, would acheive this. Pretty please. With sugar on top.

I see. OK fair enough we will build an option for this into Preferences or maybe a command into METAbrain so when it is received it will auto shut down. I will think about which would be a better solution.

Thx

Let me second jmarvino's request. I use METAbolt (and love it!) to have an alt monitor various chat groups, normally on my home computer. But sometimes, while at work, I want that alt to come in-world and do something. It would be very nice to have a preference setting for "auto-relog" that could be set to yes or no. Thanks for a great program :).

A solution for this was provided in V 0.9.43.0
