This is probably because there is something wrong with the .NET on your machines. Did this start happening suddenly or has it been happening since you installed METAbolt?

It's probably due to .NET. You can either remove all .NET libraries from your control paneland then re-install them again or you can use the tool below which will check and verify everything:

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/...2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Don't forget to reboot your machine if any changes are made. Let me know what happens.

i have managed to sort out this problem by putting a tick in the mipmaps box and downloading the old version 9.52, i tried the newest version but i see it dosent have the mipmaps option is there or will there be a way to set mipmaps on the latest versions to? if anyone else has this problem you will need to tick the mipmaps box for each box/avatar used in sl....hope this helps

The current feature auto detects (supposedly) mipmap ability. This is the second post on this subject which has now got me to question whether the auto detect is working for all graphics cards or not! Seems it might not be. I will investigate this further and re-introduce the manual mipmap setting in Application/Prerences in the next version.

Thx Salena

A solution for this has been provided in V 0.9.59.0
