I realized what has been happening. After I close a GIM tab, the IMbox tab keeps showing that chat session as unread in the list, so when I double click it the item just disappear, since that chat session already doesn't exist anymore (tab was closed). Apparently it works if the GIM tab of that chat session still is open, or when the chat session has just started. It seems the items of the list GIMs-related aren't being updated after be read or the related tab be closed. By the way, I didn't have tested it on Win 7 32 bits yet, but most likely it would behave the same way.
A bit off topic I would like to say about another issue, I liked the Favorites bar but it seems it has a issue. After a teleport or when the inventory loads, that bar is reloaded and the window re-sized vertically. At times the window even became bigger than my screen. That's a bit annoying I would say. I'm going to see if this happens with the new version too (I'm using 0.9.58.0 atm).
Also there is an old issue, sometimes the Profile window doesn't load the infos properly after some time logged on (except SL and display name, all infos appears blank). Also after you join a group while someone's profile is opened (Group window accessed through Profile window), the Profile window is reloaded and shows yours own groups instead someone's groups. I would need to check it better to get more details.
