Hi there,

like the topic said: My PC is freezing after the upgrade to the new METABolt 0.9.0.44 when I additional start the normal Second Life Viewer. It did never happen with the older version. Everything beside the corrupt Inventory was working fine. I did remove the new Version and downloaded it again, since you recommended it for another User. Anybody else having the same problems?

Short Update: Since I reinstalled METABolt the PC did not freeze again. Though the new Version of METABolt uses more Memory.

I am happy to hear that Trooper.

Yo ushould expect every new version to use up more memory simply because METAbolt is growing with each release i.e. we are adding more and more to it.

Well bad news: While being some hours away and running several Instances of METABolt, the PC nearly crashed. With other words it was at the limit. And this is nearly impossible with such a little program like METABolt. I have a Intel Dual CPU - 2 x 3.0 GHZ - and 2 GB RAM. No other programs had been running. Both CPU had 100 %. And not even one of the newest Games let this ever happen.

I don't know what is all changed in this Version but something generates this problem and makes the program instable. Maybe it's this Radar Option, which I don't need. Why can't it be optional? So if someone needs it he can turn it on. Please, is there no way to give the old Version back? So if someone wants to use the new one that's just fine. But I would like to have - for now - the old one back.

Hey Luke,

I did. Thanks. It seems I was right with the Radar Option.

Testing the new Version right now. What I can say: Even with 10 Instances of the Programm the CPU Load is about 5 %. The Memory Usage is like I mentioned a bit higher as it was before. But that's fine.

So it seems this problem is solved. I recommend for a future Release making the Radar optional. I will keep reporting for new bugs.
