I run SL through a proxy program, works fine.
Trying to run METAbolt, but I can't find METAbolt.exe, which I need to configure my proxy to serve. Using e-Border proxy.

Thanks!

Because METAbolt is a ClickOnce application unfortuantely you will need to find the "exe". It is will be under the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Apps\2.0\

it should look like something like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Apps\2.0\O7X01Q47.8E3\JWPYG411.1C5\meta..tion_c70563141d3c615f_0000.0009_f8951508ef23c211

Where "Your User Name" is the username you use to log into Windows. ClickOnce is a Microsoft technology and it works this way for security reasons (user's security and not METAbolt).

I hope this helps.

I have tried using that setup (Tested both E-border and FreeCap with CC Proxy (SOCKS5) on the other end) but no luck.

Is that a problem related to SL? Or the proxy?

Edit: I will try later at home on a direct connection, maybe that helps... I'm still hoping that I find a way to connect through a tunnel (I tunnel the proxy ports through SSH to home) to SL.
The proxy does work fine for Trillian and such.

That's more likely to be SL (it is too slow to respond or is not responding at all) but it can also be due to a slow connection or even a proxy/firewall.

Let me know what happens at home when you try it.

Thx
