Hey Luke,

I guess I found the problem, but to answer your question:

Quote:
When you say you "lost a folder" do you mean it doesn't show up in METAbolt or is it gone from the SL viewer too?

None of the AV "lost" a folder in the SL Viewer. Everything is fine there. The Problem comes up when I start METABolt and want to access the Inventory and attach or detach an Item. All Folders are gone / not loading.

Quote:
1. roughly how many items do they have in the inventory

The last Test AV I created today has 1159 Items and no Inventory is shown.

One AV which started last week in Japan where is no SL initiation process has 1013 and no Inventory is shown.

Another one has 944 and the Inventory is fine.

The one which Inventory is now "invisible" got some new clothes today and has now 1020.

Another one has 903 Items and the Inventory is fine.

It seems that every Iventory which is over 1000 items?? will not show up in METABolt (yet?).

Hmmm that's very interesting. I am releived to know that METAbolt isn't losing inventory items which is what I thought you were saying :d/

There is a known problem that METAbolt does not display large inventories. I was of the opinion that the threshold was a lot higher than 1000 items but sounds like it's not. The problem with large inventories is that METAbolt gets bombarded (either from libsecondlife or SL itself) with the same items over and over again which causes it to give up. The good news is I have a solution for it but because it was going to take time to put in place I decided to release this version of the inventory last weekend and planned to release the version that will handle large inventories next weekend. Given your condition I will try to make the next release earlier...no promises though as I am extremely busy in RL. This next version will sort your problems out above.

Thank you for all your input it's made the situation very clear.

Hey Luke,

I have over 16,000 items in my inventory but am kind of obsessive about keeping them organized. Is it possible to have Metabolt load just the root folders and not the contents of any sub-folders unless you actually select a sub-folder? That might cut down on the network overhead of loading the entire inventory. Just a thought. Thanks for the new update (and fixing the word Control) and keep up the great work! Happy

Hi rtkwebman,

Well in theory that's what is was supposed to be doing Happy and that's where the bug was. V 0.46 fixes that and works the way you have suggested. There is still room for loads of improvement of course and all that will be coming gradually. Yes thx for spotting that spelling error on "control" Happy
