Description
Step-By-Step
1.
Purchase one or more Prize Chairs and rez them where you want the traffic to arrive in your store. The most flexible type of chair is Choice Chair which you can buy from Machin's Machines at
5th Avenue Store in Anma.
2.
Set up the chairs according to the manufacturers instructions. If you have Lucky Chairs then drop the Comm script (see below) into the inventory of the chairs to make them send full details to the Chair Announcer.
3.
Purchase a Chair Announcer from Machin's Machines at
5th Avenue Store in Anma. Rez it near your chairs and configure it with the note card in its inventory. Note the UUID from the description of the Chair Announcer (it was also chatted).
4. Login to SL with the alt account you will use for your METAbolt and
join 1 to 6 Chair announcer groups.

Set preferences in your METAbolt instance (see below). You will need to set the UUID of the Chair Announcer noted in step 3, the UUIDs of the groups joined in step 4.
6. Once the Chair Announcer is
Enabled InWorld it will IM your METAbolt avie each change of letters and the ChairAnnouncer add-in will send group IMs to the configured groups on a regular basis.
Set-up Details
Configure Preferences in METAbolt

(1) - check this to enable Announcements & un-check to temporarily stop Announcements.
(2) - enter the UUID of the In-World Chair Announcer 1.0 object. The UUID is shown in the description of the object as well as being said when the object is Rezzed or Reset.
(3) - enter the interval between IM Announcements to the groups (cannot be less than 5 to prevent IM spam).
(4) - check this to temporarily include messages concerning Announcements in chat & un-check normally.
(5) - enter each Group UUID here obtained from the METAbolt Groups screen when you highlight a group of which you are a member.
(6) - leave the box empty or enter the Zero UUID like this to not use a group slot.
Note:The configuration stops at the first empty or zero group so push all the groups you want to use up to the top of the list and leave no gaps in the middle of the set!
Click on the
Apply button to save your changes.

Comm Script
This script can be obtained
free of charge from the vendor in Machin's Machines at
5th Avenue Store in Anma. It is simply dropped into the inventory of your
Lucky Chairs to make them communicate with a nearby
Chair Announcer 1.0 In-World object at level 2 such as *<L E T T E R S ?>* & ~Categories~.
Note: You do not need a Comm script with your
Choice Chairs as the Comm function is built in at level 3 such as *<L E T T E R S ?>* = {Products} & ~Categories~.
