If textures are not being rendered and they appear as WHITE surfaces, it means you have an old graphics card which is not compatible with META3D i.e. it does not support Mipmaps. You need to disable mipmaps inorder to render textures:
1. Select the Application/Preferences menu from the top left hand corner of METAbolt
2. Click on the META3D tab icon from the list of icons on the left
3. Make sure the Disable Mipmaps option box is CHECKED
4. Click on the Apply button, then on the OK button
You should now be able to see textures.

Tip

|
If all the text (object tags) are appearing as only white (and no other colour ever) then this means your graphic drivers are not totally compatible with META3D. You can try the following to see if it resolves the problem:
- Disable 3D graphics support from your driver's management application. If you are using nVidia this would be the nVidia Desktop Manager
If the above doesn't help you can:
- Try uninstalling the nVidia 3D drivers from your control panel. (this is at your own risk. A reboot is required if you take this step)
