METAbolt gives you the option to have 2 different sets of setting (ini) files:
1. The first/default is the "METAbol.ini" file where the same settings are used with all the avatars you login. With this option the last avatar you log in is the one remebered next time you run METAbolt.
2. The second option is to create a seperate setting file for each avatar you login. To use this feature follow the steps below:
Let's assume the avatar name is: "avatar bott"
- Start METAbolt and enter the avatar name and password
- Go into Application/Preferences
- Change the settings as you need then click on the Apply button and then the OK button to come out
- Check the "Create av BAT file" option under the password field.
- If you want the password to be saved then check the "remember password" option
- Login to SL
- Close down METAbolt
- You will notice that a BAT file for this avatar named "avatar_bott.bat" and an INI file called "avatar_bott_METAbolt.ini" has been created under the Data Dir folder (How to get the installation folder of METAbolt)
- Run METAbolt and login with the avatar whose settings you wish to change
- Go into Application/Preferences
- Now change the settings as you wish and those settings will be saved into the "avatar_bott_METAbolt.ini" file.
- Each time you login with this avatar OR each time you start METAbolt using the "avatar_bott.bat" file, the avatar specific INI which was created (described above) will be used and NOT the generic METAbolt.ini.
Repeat the above steps for as many avatars as you require.
